Batdorj-in Baasanjab ( Mongolian: , Батдоржын Баасанжав, ''Batdorjyn Baasanjav''; born 1954), also known by his Chinese name Basenzhabu or simply Ba Sen, is a Chinese actor of Mongol descent from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. He is a descendant of Genghis Khan's second son, Chagatai, and is best known for portraying Genghis Khan in the 2004 Chinese-Mongolian television series, ''Genghis Khan''. Career At the age of 13, Ba Sen started learning dancing in the Inner Mongolian Arts School. After graduation, he became a dancer in a group in the Chinese military. Since 1984, he has been working as an actor in the Inner Mongolian Film Agency. His first role was Herder Suhee in the drama ''Huan Jinhai''. He played the eponymous role in the 2004 television series ''Genghis Khan''. Personal life Ba Sen married Saran Gua, a singer from the Inner Mongolian Opera and Dance Theatre. Baljinnyamyn Amarsaikhan ( mn, Балжиннямын Амарсайхан) is a Mongolian actor and producer, known for '' Thief of the Mind'' (2011) and '' Trapped Abroad'' (2014). ''Thief of the Mind'' (or ''Mind Thief'') produced by Amarsaikhan and directed by Janchivdorj Sengedorj won the Grand Prix for Best Film in 2011 during the Mongolian 2012 Academy Awards with Amarsaikhan also winning the award for "Best Lead Role - Actor" during the same event. The film also won Best Supporting Role, Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay and Best Sound Editing. Amarsaikhan was honored for his "valuable commitment in the development of the Mongolian film industry" at the event. He currently appears in ''Marco Polo'', a television drama series about Marco Polo's early years in the court of Kublai Khan; Amarsaikhan plays Ariq Böke. Dogmid Sosorbaram (born 1958) is a Mongolian singer and democracy activist. Biography Sosorbaram was born in 1958 to a nomadic family in southern central Mongolia. He learned to sing as a child. At university he majored in theater and became involved in Mongolia's democracy movement, he rose to prominence within the movement helping to unite Mongolia's various opposition parties. In 1990 he gave the opening address at the Democratic Party's first national convention.
