Arash Keshavarzi
Arash Keshavarzi ( fa, آرش کشاورزی, born 1987 in Tehran) is a volleyball player from Iran, who plays as an outside hitter for the Men's National Team and Shahrdari Tabriz in Iranian Volleyball Super League. He is of Iranian Azerbaijani descent. Tehran
Tehran (; fa, تهران ) is the largest city in Tehran Province and the capital of Iran. The Asian Men's Volleyball Championship was the sixteenth staging of the Asian Men's Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Islamic Republic of Iran Volleyball Federation (IRIVF). The Iranian Volleyball Super League (IVSL) is a professional volleyball league in Iran at the top of the Iranian volleyball league system. It was founded in 1975 as the Pasargad Cup, but after the Iranian Revolution it was renamed to the first Division. In 1997 the league system was revamped and the Iranian Super League was established. Paykan Tehran has won the most titles in the new Super League with 12 titles. History The first season of a national Iranian volleyball league was held in 1975 with 12 teams competing. In 1976 Esteghlal became the champions for the first time, and they repeated this feat in the following season. In 1979 due to the Iranian Revolution the league was canceled. The Iran Men's National Volleyball Team is the official national men's volleyball team of Iran. It is governed by the Islamic Republic of Iran Volleyball Federation (I.R.I.V.F.) and takes part in international volleyball competitions.
