Arash Borhani
Arash Borhani ( fa, آرش برهانی ; born 14 September 1983 in Kerman, Iran) is a retired Iranian association football, football player and coach. He is the all-time top goal scorer of Esteghlal F.C., Esteghlal and also the second all-time top goal scorer in Iran's Premier Football League. He was the List of Iranian club football top goal scorers, top goal scorer of 2008–09 Persian Gulf Cup, 2008–09 Iran's Premier Football League. He was also a member of the Iran national football team. Borhani won a bronze medal in Football at the 2006 Asian Games, 2006 Asian Games with Iran national under-23 football team. Club career Pas Having just moved to PAS Tehran F.C., Pas in the Iran's Premier Football league, he helped the club to finish second in the IPL 2002/03, 2002–03 season. 2008–09 Persian Gulf Cup
The 2008–09 Persian Gulf Cup (also known as Iran Pro League) was the 26th season of Iran's Football League and eighth as Iran Pro League since its establishment in 2001. Persepolis were the defending champions. The season featured 15 teams from the 2007–08 Persian Gulf Cup and two new teams promoted from the 2007–08 Azadegan League: Payam Mashhad as champions and Foolad. Damash replaced Pegah. The Süper Lig (, ''Super League''), officially known as Spor Toto Süper Lig for sponsorship reasons, is a Turkish professional league for association football clubs. It is the top-flight of the Turkish football league system and is run by the Turkish Football Federation. In the 2022–23 season, nineteen clubs compete, where a champion is decided and three clubs are promoted from, and relegated to the 1. Lig. The Belgian Pro League,(officially the Jupiler Pro League due to sponsorship reasons with Jupiler), is the top league competition for association football clubs in Belgium. 2006 FIFA World Cup
The 2006 FIFA World Cup, also branded as Germany 2006, was the 18th FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial international football world championship tournament. It was held from 9 June to 9 July 2006 in Germany, which had won the right to host the event in July 2000. Teams representing 198 national football associations from all six populated continents participated in the qualification process which began in September 2003. Thirty-one teams qualified from this process along with hosts Germany for the finals tournament. 2005 AFC Champions League
The 2005 AFC Champions League was the 24th edition of the top-level Asian club football tournament and the 3rd edition under the current AFC Champions League title. The championship was retained by the Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad with a 5–3 aggregate victory over Al Ain from the United Arab Emirates.
