Arantxa Alvarez
Arantxa Isabel Álvarez Garri (born 17 November 1991) is a Swedish television presenter and singer. She grew up in Norrköping and is since 2014 residing in Malmö. Career Alvarez participated in ''Idol 2013'' broadcast on TV4 and made it to the Top 20. She was then eliminated during the Semi Final Qualifyings. During the summer of 2014 she made her debut as a television presenter for the Sveriges Radio show Morgonpasset. And in the aid show Musikhjälpen broadcast both on Sveriges Television and Sveriges Radio she was that years "public ambassador". In the summer of 2015 she was again presenter of Morgonpasset in Sveriges Radio P3, and during late 2015 she presented Idol Extra which was broadcast on TV4, she presented the show along with singer Erik Segerstedt. In the summer of 2016 she again got to present her third summer of Morgonpasset, this time along with Farah Abadi, Victor Linnér, Jonatan Unge och Simon Rosenqvist. SVT Play
SVT Play is the brand used for the video on demand service offered by Sveriges Television, more specifically to the streaming services offered on the SVT website, svt.se, and its counterpart for mobile phones. The brand was introduced in December 2006, when the existing streaming television service got a new name. In September 2007, SVT launched their own channel on YouTube. From late 2007 until end of 2008 SVT Play was also available as a channel on Joost. SVT claims that the service offers more than 2,000 hours of television. Most programmes produced for or by SVT are published on SVT Play after they have been broadcast and are then available for 30 days. SVT have also launched "channels" dedicated at different audiences under the "Play" name. The first such channel was Play Bolibompa which launched in late 2007. SVT1 (SVT Ett; commonly referred to as Ettan) is the primary television station of the Swedish public service broadcaster Sveriges Television in Sweden. History Television in Sweden officially launched on 4 September 1956 with the launch of ''Radiotjänst TV'', which was renamed ''Sveriges Radio TV'' a year later. ''Drag Race Sverige'' (sometimes called ''Drag Race Sweden'') is a Swedish reality competition television series based on the American series ''RuPaul's Drag Race''. It is broadcast by SVT1 and SVT Play in Sweden and airs on WOW Presents Plus elsewhere. ''Drag Race Sverige'' is the twelfth international adaptation of the American reality competition series ''RuPaul's Drag Race'', following Chilean, Thai, British, Canadian, Dutch, Australian and New Zealand, Spanish, Italian, French, Filipino, and Belgian versions.
