Appoquinimink High School
Appoquinimink High School (AHS) is a public high school in Middletown, Delaware. It is a part of the Appoquinimink School District. Construction of the two-story building began in 2006 See clippingfrom Newspapers.com and ninth grade students were housed in the former Alfred G. Waters School building for the duration of the construction. Felecia Duggins was selected as school principal in May 2007 and the campus' stadium and 1,067-seat fieldhouse opened that fall. Administrators gave students at Everett Meredith and Louis L. Redding middle schools the choice between the jaguars, pirates, and titans for the new high school's mascot; the most popular choice was the jaguar. The Appoquinimink School District is a public school district in southern New Castle County, Delaware. The district office is located in the Odessa Park Building, 313 South Fifth Street, in Odessa, Delaware, with Matthew Burrows as the current superintendent. Renee Charmaine Bull (born February 24, 1993, in Dover) is an American beauty pageant titleholder. She was first Runner-Up at Miss Delaware 2012 and a Top 11 Finalist at Miss Delaware 2013. She was crowned Miss Delaware USA 2015 and represented her state at Miss USA 2015 where she became the first delegate from her state to place in the semifinals, finishing in the Top 11. Miss Delaware USA is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Delaware in the Miss USA pageant, and the name of the title held by its winner. The pageant is directed by V&M Productions. Delaware had not placed in Miss USA until 2015, where Renee Bull placed in the Top 10. This is additionally Delaware's first, most recent, and only placement. The current Miss Delaware USA is Grace Lange of Newark and was crowned on April 3, 2022 at Laird Performing Arts Center of The Tatnall School in Wilmington.
