The song was re-released in October 2005. The music was written by Duncan Lloyd and the lyrics by Paul Smith. The song originally reached number 20 on the UK Singles Chart in February 2005 and later number 17 after its re-release. It was listed as the 352nd best song of the 2000s by ''Pitchfork''. Maxïmo Park are an English alternative rock band, formed in 2000 in Newcastle upon Tyne. The band consists of Paul Smith (vocals), Duncan Lloyd (guitar), and Tom English (drums). ''SSX on Tour'' is a snowboarding and skiing game, the fourth title in the '' SSX'' series of video games for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox and PlayStation Portable. It was released in North America on October 11, 2005 and in the PAL region on October 21, 2005. The PlayStation Portable version was released in Europe on October 28, 2005. It is an album of cover versions with a retro-inspired sound that Ronson considers to be reminiscent of Motown and Stax releases.
