Appani Sarath
Sarath Kumar, better known by his stage name Appani Sarath (born 28 December 1992), is an Indian actor who appears in Malayalam cinema, Malayalam and Tamil films. Career Sarath came into limelight after portraying the character of Appani Ravi in ''Angamaly Diaries'' directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, which gained him instant popularity. He later acted in ''Velipadinte Pusthakam'' directed by Lal Jose playing the role of Franklin, who appears in the famous ''Jimikki Kammal'' song. He had important roles in ''Pokkiri Simon'' and ''Sachin (film), Sachin''. Sarath has also done few Tamil films, with a brief role in the 2018 Mani Ratnam movie; ''Chekka Chivantha Vaanam'' and ''Sandakozhi 2'' with Vishal (actor), Vishal-a sequel to the 2005 movie ''Sandakozhi''. ''Sandakozhi'' () is a 2005 Indian Tamil language, Tamil-language action film written and directed by N. Filmfare Awards South is the South Indian segment of the annual Filmfare Awards, presented by the Filmfare magazine of The Times Group to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Indian film industry encompassing four languages, namely, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. The Asianet Film Awards is an award ceremony for films presented annually by Asianet, a Malayalam-language television network from the south-Indian state of Kerala. Asianet says that awards ceremony has been instituted to honour both artistic and technical excellence in the Malayalam language film industry.
