The Apostolic Nunciature to Niger is an ecclesiastical office of the Catholic Church in Niger. Janusz Bolonek
Janusz (Januariusz Mikołaj) Bolonek (6 December 1938 – 2 March 2016) was a Polish prelate of the Catholic Church who worked in the diplomatic service of the Holy See. He was named an archbishop in 1989 and represented the Holy See in Uruguay, Bulgaria, Romania, and the Macedonia. Biography Janusz Bolonek was born in Huta Dłutowska, Poland, on 6 December 1938. This is a list of diplomatic missions of the Holy See. Since the fifth century, long before the founding of the Vatican City State in 1929, papal envoys (now known as nuncios) have represented the Holy See to foreign potentates. Additionally, papal representatives known not as nuncios but as apostolic delegates ensure contact between the Holy See and the Catholic Church in countries that do not have diplomatic relations with the Holy See. Piergiorgio Bertoldi
Piergiorgio Bertoldi (born 26 July 1963) is a Catholic archbishop and Apostolic Nuncio of the Holy See. Biography He was born in Varese, capital of the Province of Varese, on 26 July 1963. He received his priestly ordination by cardinal Carlo Maria Martini on 11 June 1988 for the Archdiocese of Milan. He attended the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy and entered the diplomatic service of the Holy See. He then worked for the diplomatic missions of the Holy See in Uganda, Republic of Congo, Colombia, the former Yugoslavia, Romania, Iran, Brasil. Vito Rallo (born 30 May 1953) is an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church, who worked in the diplomatic service of the Holy See. He served as Apostolic Nuncio to Morocco from 2015-2023 and prior to that as Apostolic Nuncio to Burkina Faso from 2007-2015. Biography Vito Rallo was born in Mazara del Vallo, Trapani, on 30 May 1953. He was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Mazara del Vallo on 1 April 1979. He olds a degree in civil and canon law. Mario Roberto Cassari (27 August 1943 – 19 August 2017) was an Italian Roman Catholic archbishop and diplomat. He joined the diplomatic service of the Holy See in 1977 and served as apostolic nuncio in several countries from the time he became an archbishop in 1999 until he retired in 2016. Biography Mario Roberto Cassari was born in Ghilarza, Oristano, Sardinia, Italy on 27 August 1943. He was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Ampurias-Tempio on 27 December 1969. Mario Zenari (born 5 January 1946) is an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church who has been a cardinal since 2016. He has served his entire ecclesiastical career in the diplomatic service of the Holy See, holding senior positions beginning in 1999. He has been Apostolic Nuncio to Syria since 30 December 2008. Luigi Ventura (born 9 December 1944) is an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church who worked in the diplomatic service of the Holy See, ending his career as Apostolic Nuncio to France from 2009 to 2019. Justo Mullor García (8 May 1932 – 30 December 2016) was a Spanish prelate of the Catholic Church who spent his career in the diplomatic service of the Holy See and then headed the Vatican's academy for training diplomats.
