Ranjit Mallick
Ranjit Mallick (রঞ্জিত মল্লিক) (born 28 September 1944) is an Indian actor who works mainly in Bengali cinema. He is particularly known for appearing in films such as ''Interview'', ''Mouchak'', ''Shatru'', ''Shakha Proshakha'', '' Guru Dakshina'', ''Amader Songsar'', ''Indrajit'', ''Jiban Niye Khela'', ''Nabab'', '' Sathi'', ''Nater Guru'', '' Gyarakal'', '' Chander Bari'' and ''Bajimaat''. Sabitri Chatterjee
Sabitri Chatterjee (born 22 February 1937) is an Indian actress who is known for her work in Bengali theatre and cinema. Her career spans more than 60 years. She is the recipient of BFJA Awards for two times. In 1999, she was conferred with Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for Acting in Bengali theatre. In 2013, she was awarded by the Government of West Bengal its highest civilian award; the Banga Bibhushan. In 2014, Government of India conferred upon her its fourth-highest civilian award the Padma Shri. She was born in Comilla, in British India (now in Bangladesh). During the partition of Bengal, she was sent to the safety of an older, married sister's house in Kolkata located at Tollygunge. Sumit Ganguly is a professor of political science at Indiana University and currently holds that University's Rabindranath Tagore Chair in Indian Cultures and Civilizations, focusing on comparative politics in South Asia. Ganguly completed his undergraduate degree at Berea College in 1977, his master's degree from Miami University in 1978, and his Ph.D. in political science at the University of Illinois - Urbana-Champaign in 1984. Mrinal Mukherjee
Mrinal Mukherjee ( – 7 May 2019) was an Indian actor, theatre personality and music director. He is the father of actor and singer Jojo. He is remembered for his negative roles in Bengali cinema. Career In 1955, Mukherjee made his debut with the 1955 film ''Dui Bon''. After that he performed number of commercial movies more than five decades in Bengali film industry and played crucial roles. He acted with notable directors in number of movies like ''Galpo Holeo Satti'', ''Nayika Sangbad'', ''Chuti'', ''Shriman Prithviraj'' etc. He also performed as music director as well as playback singer in Bengali films and worked with Gulzar in the film Mausam.
