Giorgio Mariuzzo
Giorgio Mariuzzo (7 July 1939 – 16 January 2023) was an Italian screenwriter and director. Life and career Born in Venice, Mariuzzo entered the cinema industry in 1968 as an assistant director, then since the mid-1970s he started writing screenplays and also directed a number of films. Best known for his collaboration with Lucio Fulci in the early 1980s, from 1985 he was mainly active on television. Al Cliver
Pierluigi Conti (better known as Al Cliver) (born 16 July 1951) is a retired Italian actor who is perhaps best known for starring in horror and exploitation films, especially ones by directors Lucio Fulci and Jesús Franco. Career Cliver was discovered at the age of 16, he then started doing a few commercials and later at around the age of 22 he got into the world of Italian cinema. He decided to use the name Al Cliver as his stage name, as it was trendy for Italian actors at that time to use American stage names. He decided on after Al Capone, or Al Pacino and his surname was taken from a death row prisoner who wrote a best selling book. Cliver made his acting debut in 1974 in ''Il Saprofita''. Spaghetti Western
The Spaghetti Western is a broad subgenre of Western films produced in Europe. It emerged in the mid-1960s in the wake of Sergio Leone's film-making style and international box-office success. The term was used by foreign critics because most of these Westerns were produced and directed by Italians. Leone's films and other core Spaghetti Westerns are often described as having eschewed, criticized, or even "demythologized" many of the conventions of traditional U.S. Westerns. Federico Boido (8 January 1938 – 7 October 2014), was an Italian film actor who appeared in many horror films, Spaghetti Westerns, and sword and sandal movies. He also acted in the Sadistik photo novels and related his experiences in the film ''The Diabolikal Super-Kriminal''. Boido was born in Novi Ligure, and made his film debut at the age of 26. He appeared in over fifty films, including ''Planet of the Vampires'' (1965), '' Danger: Diabolik'' (1968), ''Spirits of the Dead'' (1968), ''Roy Colt and Winchester Jack'' (1970), and '' Superfly TNT'' (1973). He had roles in numerous Italian westerns, including several appearances in the Sartana series. Mario Maranzana (14 July 1940 – 11 January 2012) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Background Born in Trieste, Maranzana began his career in the theater with Vittorio Gassman in '' Oedipus Rex'' by Sophocles, then worked with, among others, Giorgio Strehler and Luchino Visconti. Ely Galleani (born 24 April 1953), sometimes credited as Justine Gall and Ely Gall, is a retired Italian film actress. Born in Alassio as Federica Elisabetta De Galleani, daughter of an Italian count and of a Polish woman of Lithuanian origin, Galleani made her film debut in 1970 with a small role in ''Quella piccola differenza'' by Duccio Tessari, then appeared in a number of films with roles of more weight. Drug problems and a decline in Italian film production forced her to retire from acting in 1978. She moved on to a career as an accountant.
