Anup Kumar Yama
Anup Kumar Yama (born 1 September 1984) is an Indian roller skater. He won the Arjuna Award in 2015 by Indian Government (for outstanding achievement in National Sports). He has won several national titles. He won two bronze medals at the 2010 Asian Games held in Guangzhou, China in the Men's Single Free Skating and Pairs Skating events with his partner Avani Panchal. Early life He was born on 1 September 1984 in a family of athletes. Anup started skating at four. He is coached by his father Veeresh Yama, also a skater. Career He is a second-generation performer. He is ranked first in the world in the 'Inline Artistic Roller Skating' category in 58th World Artistic Roller Skating Championship in Taiwan. After winning the bronze medal in the 57th World Artistic Roller Skating Championship 2012, which was held in New Zealand, he headed straight to the 15th Asian Roller Skating Championship in Hefei, China. Asian Games
The Asian Games, also known as Asiad, is a continental multi-sport event held every four years among athletes from all over Asia. The Games were regulated by the Asian Games Federation (AGF) from the first Games in New Delhi, India, until the 1978 Games. Since the 1982 Games, they have been organized by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), after the breakup of the Asian Games Federation. Jinshan District
Jinshan District, is a suburban district of southwestern Shanghai, neighboring Zhejiang province and Hangzhou Bay. It has a land area of and a population of 732,500 as of the 2010 Chinese census. Haining City
() is a county-level city in Zhejiang Province, China, and under the jurisdiction of Jiaxing. It is in the south side of Yangtze River Delta, and in the north of Zhejiang.
