Antonios Antonopoulos
Antonios Antonopoulos (Greek: Αντώνιος Αντωνόπουλος) (1805–1887) was a Greek politician of Achaia and a mayor of Patras. He was born in Patras sixteen years before the Greek Revolution, in which he partook, being given the cross of the Order of the Redeemer. His father Dimitrios Antonopoulos was a delegate in the national council of Troizina (Troezen) and councillor. His brother Ioannis Antonopoulos served as mayor of Patras and a Minister of Justice. He was elected mayor of Patras in 1847 but the government opposed him, since he was an anti-monarchist, and deposed him the same day, staying in office for one day. Troizina
Troezen (; ancient Greek: Τροιζήν, modern Greek: Τροιζήνα ) is a small town and a former municipality in the northeastern Peloponnese, Greece, on the Argolid Peninsula. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Troizinia-Methana, of which it is a municipal unit. It is part of the Islands regional unit. Troezen is located southwest of Athens, across the Saronic Gulf, and a few miles south of Methana. The seat of the former municipality (pop. 6,507) was in Galatas. Before 2011, Troizina was part of the Argolis and Korinthos prefecture from 1833 to 1925, Attica prefecture from 1925 to 1964, Piraeus Prefecture from 1964 to 1972 and then back in Attica prefecture (in antiquity it was part of Argolis). Konstantinos Skourletis
Konstantinos Skourletis ( el, Κωνσταντίνος Σκουρλέτης, died 1888) was a Greek politician and a mayor of Patras. He became a mayor of the city from 1844 until 1851. In 1847 due to the situation at the time, he replaced Antonios Antonopoulos as mayor of the city, as the former was a royalist and the latter an anti-royalist. The incumbent minister is Konstantinos Tsiaras of New Democracy. Ioannis Antonopoulos
Ioannis Antonopoulos ( el, Ιωάννης Αντωνόπουλος, 1810 - October 28, 1882) was a Greek politician and a mayor of Patras. He was born in Patras and was the son of Dimitrios Antonopoulos. He later studied law in Corfu and worked as a judge. He was elected mayor of Patras in 1851 and served until 1885. He was elected several times to the public council and attempted to become president of the municipal chamber. He became a minister for Justice in 1849 and later the Economy. He was elected six times as parliamentary representative of Achaia and served as Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament. As justice minister, he ran the magistrate court and the court of appeal in Patras. He organised the paving of the city's streets, constructed several fountains and lighted Ermou Street.
