Antonio Nariño Airport
Antonio Nariño Airport (, ) is an airport located in the town of Chachagüí and which serves the city of Pasto in the Nariño Department of Colombia. The airport is north of Pasto. It handles only domestic flights in addition to military operations and private charters. A new terminal, administrative and tower control were built, also new navigation equipment was set up due to the increasing number of passengers and cargo flights. Usually Airbus 318, 319, 320, Boeing 737, 727, turboprop and different types of smaller aircraft use the airport Runway The airport has a table top runway, built on a plateau of 50 meters because of the surrounding terrain. El Dorado International Airport is an international airport serving Bogotá, the capital of Colombia, and its surrounding areas. The airport is located mostly in the Fontibón district of Bogotá, although it partially extends into the Engativá district and through the municipality of Funza in the Western Savanna Province of the Cundinamarca Department. Pasto
Pasto, officially San Juan de Pasto (; "Saint John of Pasto"), is the capital of the department of Nariño, in southern Colombia. Pasto was founded in 1537 and named after indigenous people of the area. In the 2018 census, the municipality had a population of 392,930. Pasto is located in the Atriz Valley on the Andes cordillera, at the foot of the Galeras volcano. History The etymology of the word ''Pasto'' can be traced to the indigenous people who inhabited the region at the arrival of the Spanish conquerors, the Pastos. However, the Atriz Valley itself was inhabited by the Quillacingas.
