''Drag Race Sverige'' (sometimes called ''Drag Race Sweden'') is a Swedish reality competition television series based on the American series ''RuPaul's Drag Race''. It is broadcast by SVT1 and SVT Play in Sweden and airs on WOW Presents Plus elsewhere. ''Drag Race Sverige'' is the twelfth international adaptation of the American reality competition series ''RuPaul's Drag Race'', following Chilean, Thai, British, Canadian, Dutch, Australian and New Zealand, Spanish, Italian, French, Filipino, and Belgian versions. It was followed by a Mexican iteration. The adaptation was announced in April 2022 and casting began in May. Mastiff AB produces the show. Executive producers are RuPaul and Tom Campbell, as well as World of Wonder founders Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato. The show is presented by Robert Fux with singer and actress Kayo and radio and television host making up the judging panel. ''RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under'' is a reality competition streaming television series based on the American television series of the same name produced by World of Wonder and Warner Bros. International Television Production New Zealand. The show documents RuPaul and a panel of judges' search for "Down Under's next drag superstar". Admira Thunderpussy, also known simply as Admira, is the stage name of Adam Daniel Risberg, a Swedish drag performer best known for winning the first season of ''Drag Race Sverige''. Early life Risberg was born and raised in Södermalm, Stockholm, Sweden. At the age of 17, in his senior year of high school at Södra Latin, he produced, choreographed, and starred in a drag show as a finishing project at his school that eventually landed him jobs in local gay clubs and at Stockholm Pride. After the show, Swedish drag star Christer Lindarw, whom had been invited to the show, physically embraced Risberg. He was inspired to try drag by Jackie Beat and Varla Jean Merman. His drag name originates from a "similar version" of his birth name, Adam, combined with Thunderpussy, as it "just felt right". Before settling on "Admira", he nearly donned "Adore" as his drag name.
