Antonette De Calangute
Antonette Pereira (born Antonetta Souza; 6 March 1963 – 6 March 2014), known professionally as Antonette de Calangute, was an Indian theatre actress, and singer who worked on the Tiatr, Konkani stage. A versatile performer, she is best known for her portrayal of tragic characters in ''tiatr'' productions. Early life Antonette Pereira, originally named Antonetta Souza (later Antoneta de Souza), was born on 6 March 1963, in the town of Calangute. She is the daughter of Trindade Souza (later Trindade de Souza) and Matildes Lobo (later Maria Lobo). Pereira has a sister who resides in Mumbai. Career In the theatrical season of 1978–79, Pereira marked her entry into the world of ''tiatr''. Her debut performance took place in the production titled ''Sangati'' (Companion), written and directed by Vitorino Pereira, who would later become her brother-in-law. Colva
Colva is a seaside village situated in Salcete subdistrict, South Goa district, Goa state on the west coast of India. Colva Beach spans about along a sandy coastline of approximately extending from Bogmalo in the north to Cabo de Rama in the south. The village had significant importance to Portuguese and was the retreat for Goa's high society, who would come to Colva for their (change of air). Today the Portuguese area is dotted with houses or villas, including many ruins. On weekends, huge crowds of tourists, visitors from around the world as well as local Indians, enjoy the sunset and various activities.
