Anton Van Schijndel
Anton Van Schijndel (born January 12, 1960) is a Dutch politician. He was a member of parliament in the House of Representatives (Netherlands), House of Representatives from 2005 to 2006, initially for the VVD and later for One NL. He later became a member of the Forum for Democracy and currently sits with the party on the municipal council (Netherlands), municipal council of Amsterdam. Biography Van Schijndel studied law at the University of Amsterdam and obtained a master's degree in international relations from Columbia University in New York. In the 1990s he worked as a lawyer in New York and Amsterdam. Van Schijndel entered the House of Representatives in 2005 as a member of the VVD, succeeding Jan Rijpstra. In parliament, he focused on matters relating to policing, European rules, the Dutch Constitution, AIVD and national security. Van Schijndel emerged as a supporter of Rita Verdonk in the party. Bernard Johannes "Joost" Eerdmans (born 9 January 1971) is a Dutch politician, broadcaster and former civil servant who has served as Leader of JA21 since 18 December 2020, a party he co-founded with Annabel Nanninga. Forum for Democracy ( nl, Forum voor Democratie, FvD) is a right-wing populist Eurosceptic political party in the Netherlands that was founded as a think tank by Thierry Baudet and Henk Otten in 2016. The party first participated in elections in the 2017 general election, winning two seats in the House of Representatives. In the 2019 provincial elections, it won the most seats out of any party, although 61 out of 86 representatives have since defected. Marcus Gerhardus Theodorus (Marco) Pastors (born 10 September 1965) is a Dutch civil servant and former politician.
