Anton Pain Ratu (2 January 1929 – 6 January 2024) was an Indonesian Roman Catholic prelate who was auxiliary bishop of Atambua from 1982 to 1984 and bishop of Atambua from 1984 to 2007. Dominikus Saku
Dominikus Saku (born 3 April 1960) is an Indonesian Roman Catholic bishop. Biography Saku was born in Taekas, North Central Timor Regency on the island of Timor. He attended the local diocesan minor seminary and then studied philosophy and theology at St Peter's Seminary, at Maumere. He was ordained a priest of the diocese of Atambua on 29 September 1992. Afterbeing ordained Saku studied at Pontifical Urban University in Rome from 1995 to 1999. Before becoming bishop Saku, besides being a priest, was a professor and formator at the major seminary in Kupang from 2003 to 2007 and was a professor of theology at Widya Mandira Catholic University. On 2 June 2007 Saku was appointed bishop of the diocese of Atambua to replace the retiring bishop Anton Pain Ratu S.V.D. Atambua
Atambua is the regency seat of Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. The town stretches as far as 8.5 km from north to south and 5 km from east to west, and is located in the north of the western half of Timor Island. The town is located at an altitude of about 350 m above sea level with temperatures ranging between 23 and 35 degrees Celsius making this area feel quite warm. An influx of citizens fleeing from East Timor in 1999 made Atambua a big town. It is now the second-largest town in West Timor behind Kupang, also the fourth-largest town in East Nusa Tenggara behind Kupang, Maumere and Ende. Most of its citizens speak Tetun and Dawan. Juan de Dios Mataflorida Pueblos (8 March 1943 – 21 October 2017) was a Roman Catholic bishop. Pueblos was born on 8 March 1943 in Moto Sur in the municipality of Loon, Bohol, Loon, Bohol. He studied at the Immaculate Heart Seminary in Tagbilaran and San Carlos Major Seminary. Pueblos was ordained to the priesthood on 30 March 1968 and was consecrated as bishop on 24 June 1985.
