Anthony Zinno
Anthony Zinno (born 1981) is a professional poker player from Cranston, Rhode Island. He has won three World Poker Tour (WPT) titles and four World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets. Zinno earned a degree in chemical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, then graduated from Suffolk University Law School in Boston and passed the Massachusetts state bar exam before becoming a professional poker player. In 2008, he cashed in the WSOP Main Event in 205th place, earning $38,600. His first WPT title came in September 2013, when he prevailed over a field of 1,189 and defeated Vanessa Selbst heads-up at the Borgata Poker Open, earning $825,099. 2021 World Series Of Poker
The 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) was the 52nd edition of the event. It took place from September 30 – November 23 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. A full schedule of 88 live events (plus 11 online events) was held after the 2020 WSOP was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The $10,000 No Limit Hold'em Main Event began on November 4, with the champion being determined on November 17. New events included a $1,000 Flip and Go No Limit Hold'em Tournament, where each player was automatically all-in on the first hand and the winners of the hand will proceed into the money and a traditional tournament structure. There was also be a Poker Hall of Famers Bounty tournament. The 2019 World Series of Poker was the 50th annual tournament, and took place from May 28 – July 16, 2019 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. There were 90 bracelet events. To celebrate the 50th WSOP there was a $50,000 No Limit Hold'em event as well as the Big 50, a $500 buy-in No Limit Hold'em event with a guaranteed $5 million prize pool and $1 million for the winner. There was also a tournament open only to past WSOP bracelet winners. A short deck tournament was also held for the first time. All No Limit Hold'em events employed the Big Blind Ante format. Cranston, once known as Pawtuxet, is a city in Providence County, Rhode Island. Juan Carlos Mortensen (born April 13, 1972, in Ambato, Ecuador) is an Ecuadorian professional poker player of Danish descent and the first South American Main Event winner of the World Series of Poker. Mortensen is known for his loose play, bluffing tactics, and interesting chip-stacking style.
