Anthony Contreras
Anthony Daniel Contreras Enríquez (born 29 January 2000) is a Costa Rican footballer who plays as a forward for Cypriot First Division club Pafos FC and the Costa Rica national team. Club career Herediano Contreras joined C.S. Herediano in 2015, after he was spotted by a scout in a game for a club in Zapote, at the age of 15. He then went on a trial at the club and then joined the club permanently. Before that, Contreras had never played for a club. 23 months after joining Herediano, on 15 January 2017, he got his official debut for the club in the Liga FPD against Belén FC at the age of 16. Contreras started on the bench, coming on as a substitute for Heyreel Saravia in the 90th minute. This game was his only appearance in the 2017-18 season. In the following season, he only made one appearance, while he made zero in the 2018-19 season. 2020 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship
The 2020 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship was the fifteenth and final edition of the CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying, the quadrennial, international, age-restricted football tournament organised by CONCACAF to determine which men's under-23 national teams from the North, Central America and Caribbean region qualify for the Olympic football tournament. In August 2019, it was announced that the tournament would be hosted in Guadalajara and Zapopan, both cities in the state of Jalisco, Mexico, with the tournament originally scheduled to take place between 20 March and 1 April 2020. Group C of the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup took place from June 26 to July 4, 2023. The group consisted of Costa Rica, Panama, and El Salvador. The 2022–23 CONCACAF Nations League A is the top division of the 2022–23 edition of the CONCACAF Nations League, the second season of the international football competition involving the men's national teams of the 41 member associations of CONCACAF. It it is being held from 2 June 2022 to 28 March 2023. League A will culminate with the 2023 CONCACAF Nations League Finals in June 2023 to crown the champions of the CONCACAF Nations League.
