''Anthology'' is a compilation album from Quarashi. Detail Quarashi has stated that this was their last album. They did three concerts in Iceland, the summer of 2011. The first one were at Besta Útihátiðin 2011 at Gaddstaðaflötum, Hella. Quarashi
Quarashi is an Icelandic rap rock band from Reykjavík, Iceland. The group consists of rappers Hössi Ólafsson (later replaced by Egill Olafur Thorarensen), Ómar Örn Hauksson, Steinar Orri Fjeldsted, and Sölvi Blöndal (who also acted as producer, keyboardist, percussionist, drummer and songwriter). For live shows, Quarashi was joined by guitarist Smári "Tarfur" Jósepsson, bassist Gaukur Úlfarsson, and DJ Dice (later replaced by DJ Magic). The group came back together in 2016 and is planning on releasing a new album. The group released five studio albums from 1996 to 2005. History On 31 August 2000, Quarashi announced that they had signed with Sony Music Entertainment Incorporated under the Columbia Records label. Megas
Magnús Þór Jónsson (born 7 April 1945), better known by the stage name Megas, is a vocalist, songwriter, and writer who is well known in his native Iceland. Interest in music Being an admirer of Elvis Presley, Megas welcomed the arrival of rock & roll to Iceland by 1956, although his interest in music had to be postponed while he attended grammar school in 1960. While he was young, he studied piano and showed skill at painting. He wrote outrageous short stories for the school papers and in 1968 he also published the sheet music and lyrics to 14 songs, many of which would be released on his first records. Laugardalshöll
Laugardalshöll (; also known as Laugardalshöllin and Laugardalsholl Sport Center) is a multi-purpose sports and exhibition venue located in the Laugardalur district of Iceland's capital Reykjavík. The complex consists of two main venues, a sports hall and indoor arena for track and field athletics events. Gaukur Úlfarsson
Gaukur Úlfarsson (born ) is an Icelandic film maker and film director. Gaukur began his career directing advertisements and music videos. In the 2003 Edda Awards, he won the Music Video of the Year (''Tónlistarmyndband ársins'') for ''Mess It Up'' by Quarashi. Gaukur directed and wrote the TV Series ''Sjáumst með Silvíu Nótt'' from 2005 with the alter-ego talk show host Silvía Night. Gaukur also directed the series ''Djók í Reykjavík'' from 2018 with Dóri DNA. In 2010, Gaukur directed the documentary ''Gnarr'', which followed the political campaign of comedian Jón Gnarr to become the mayor of Reykjavík. Len Ryan Wiseman (born March 4, 1973) is an American filmmaker. He is best known for his work on the ''Underworld'' series, ''Live Free or Die Hard'', and the 2012 film '' Total Recall''. Lawrence Muggerud (born January 28, 1968), professionally known by his stage name DJ Muggs, is an American DJ, audio engineer and record producer. GusGus is an electronic music band from Reykjavík, Iceland. Although initially a film and acting collective, the group is mostly known for its electronic music. The group's discography consists of eleven studio albums. History GusGus was initially formed in 1995 as a film and acting collective. Liam Howlett
Liam Paul Paris Howlett (born 21 August 1971) is an English record producer, musician, songwriter, co-founder and leader of the British electronic band The Prodigy, and an occasional DJ. Early years Howlett was born in Braintree, Essex, England. He was trained in classical piano (from childhood). At the age of 14, he mixed songs recorded from the radio using the pause button on his cassette player. He was first influenced by hip hop music and culture when he began to attend school at Alec Hunter High School in Braintree.
