Anshuman Rath
Anshuman Rath (born 5 November 1997) is an Hong Kong-born Indian cricketer who previously played and led the Hong Kong national cricket team. In September 2019, he retired from Hong Kong national team to pursue a career in India. In August 2021, he became eligible to play as a local player in India after giving up his Hong Kong citizenship to get Indian passport, and is currently representing Odisha cricket team, Odisha in the 2021–22 Indian domestic cricket season. Personal life Anshuman Rath's home is based in Satyanagar, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India and he belongs to an Odia people, Odia family. In the late 1990s, his father left India for business and settled in Hong Kong. Anshuman was born in the year 1997 in Hong Kong. Left-arm Orthodox Spin
Left-arm orthodox spin, Left-arm off spin also known as slow left-arm orthodox spin bowling, is a type of Finger spin, left-arm finger spin bowling (cricket), bowling in the sport of cricket. Left-arm orthodox spin is bowled by a left-arm bowler finger spin, using the fingers to spin the ball from right to left of the cricket pitch (from the bowler's perspective). Left-arm orthodox spin bowlers generally attempt to drift the ball in the air into a right-handed batsman, and then turn it away from the batsman (towards off-stump) upon landing on the pitch. First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. 2019 Global T20 Canada
The 2019 Global T20 Canada was the second edition of the Global T20 Canada, a 20-over professional cricket tournament, played at the CAA Centre, Brampton, Ontario. It started on 25 July 2019, and concluded with the final on 11 August 2019. It was slightly later in the calendar than the previous tournament, to avoid clashing with the 2019 Cricket World Cup. Vancouver Knights are the defending champions. A new team named New York Legends were announced to replace Cricket West Indies B Team. However, the idea was later cancelled, and the Brampton Wolves were named as the sixth franchise team in June 2019. On 26 July 2019, the start of the match between Montreal Tigers and Winnipeg Hawks was delayed by 90 minutes due to a bomb threat, when a suspicious package was found in the venue. 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two
The 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two was an international cricket tournament that took place in April 2019 in Namibia. It was contested between six teams; Canada, Hong Kong, Oman, Papua New Guinea, the United States and tournament hosts Namibia. It formed part of the 2017–19 cycle of the World Cricket League (WCL) which determined the qualification for the 2023 Cricket World Cup. The final and third-place playoff match were granted One Day International (ODI) status by the International Cricket Council. Namibia won the tournament, after they beat Oman by 145 runs in the final. It was Namibia's first win in an ODI match, and it was the first ever ODI match played by Oman. The 2018 Asia Cup (also known as Unimoni Asia Cup for sponsorship reasons) was a One-Day International (ODI) cricket tournament that was held in the United Arab Emirates in September 2018. It was the 14th edition of the Asia Cup and the third time the tournament was played in the United Arab Emirates, after the 1984 and 1995 tournaments. India were the defending champions, and retained their title, after beating Bangladesh by three wickets in the final. 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier
The 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier was a cricket tournament that was held in Malaysia from 29 August to 6 September 2018. The event served as the qualifier for the 2018 Asia Cup. The top two teams from the group stage met in the final, with the winner progressing to the 2018 Asia Cup. The fixture between the United Arab Emirates and Nepal on 30 August 2018 was a One Day International (ODI) match. It was the first time both sides had played each other in an ODI match, with the UAE going on to win the fixture by 78 runs. The United Arab Emirates finished top of the group stage with eight points.
