Nizakat Khan (born 8 July 1992) is a Pakistani-born Hong Kong cricketer. Khan is a right-handed batsman (cricket), batsman who bowls leg break. In August 2021, he was appointed as the captain of the Hong Kong national cricket team, Hong Kong cricket team. Attock ( Punjabi and Urdu: ), formerly known as Campbellpur (), is a historical city located in the north of Pakistan's Punjab Province, not far from the country's capital Islamabad. Global T20 Canada
The Global T20 Canada is a 20-over cricket tournament played in Canada. The first edition of the tournament took place during June and July 2018 with six teams competing. Each team featured four local Canadian cricketers in each squad, along with international players. The inaugural tournament in 2018 took place at the Maple Leaf Cricket Club in King City, Ontario, while the 2019 tournament took place at the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario. Bombay Sports Limited are the owners of the league, and also the organizers of the Euro T20 Slam that was set to begin on August 30, 2019. 2018 Global T20 Canada
The 2018 Global T20 Canada (also known as Canada Dry Global T20 Canada for sponsorship reasons) of the Global T20 Canada, was a 20-over cricket cricket tournament played in Canada. It was the first edition of the tournament and ran from 28 June to 15 July 2018. Six teams took part, with all the matches played at the Maple Leaf Cricket Club in King City, Ontario. A player draft took place on 3 June 2018. Approximately 1,600 players registered for the draft, with 600 of those from Canada. The 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier, for the 2016 World Twenty20, was held from 6 to 26 July 2015. The tournament was hosted by both Ireland and Scotland. 51 matches were played among 14 nations, down from 72 matches among 16 nations previously. The tournament formed part of the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier series, with the top six teams going forward to the qualifying round of the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 tournament. Matches where both teams had T20I status were recorded as a Twenty20 International match. Throwing (cricket)
Throwing, commonly referred to as chucking, is an illegal bowling action in the sport of cricket. This occurs when a bowler straightens the bowling arm when delivering the ball. Throws are not allowed. If the umpire deems that the ball has been thrown, they will call a no-ball, which means the batsman cannot be given out from that delivery. After biomechanical testing showed that all bowlers flex their extended arms to some degree, rules were changed. Current regulations of the International Cricket Council (ICC) set a limit of 15 degrees of permissible straightening of the elbow joint for all bowlers in international cricket. This law applies between the point at which the bowling arm passes above shoulder height and the point at which the ball is released. 2014 ACC Premier League
The three-tier ACC Premier League tournament has evolved from the former two-tier ACC Trophy cricket competition. The 2014–15 season started with top tier tournament which was held in Malaysia in May. Bowling Average
In cricket, a player's bowling average is the number of runs they have conceded per wicket taken. The lower the bowling average is, the better the bowler is performing. It is one of a number of statistics used to compare bowlers, commonly used alongside the economy rate and the strike rate to judge the overall performance of a bowler. When a bowler has taken only a small number of wickets, their bowling average can be artificially high or low, and unstable, with further wickets taken or runs conceded resulting in large changes to their bowling average.
