Anniela
Anniela (born 3 June 1990) is a Swedish pop singer originally from Rinkaby in Skåne, but has been living in Stockholm for a few years. Signed to Hitworks, she released her début album ''Extravaganza'' in 2009. She appeared on a talent show TV4 when she was 13 years old and in various musicals. Her music can be described as international electro dance pop in English with hints of R&B and she offers avery visual performance. Annielas debut was released in a number of foreign countries. In 2011 she participated in Melodifestivalen 2011 Melodifestivalen 2011 was a Swedish song contest held between February and March 2011. It selected Sweden's 51st song to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest, and was the 50th edition of Melodifestivalen. Eric Saade, with the song "Pop ... with the song ''Elektrisk'', with lyrics in Swedish, which is a first for her. She didn't make it to the final, getting 6th place in the second semi-final. Sweden participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "Popular" written by Fredrik Kempe. The song was performed by Eric Saade. The Swedish broadcaster Sveriges Television (SVT) organised the national final '' Melodifestivalen 2011'' in order to select the Swedish entry for the 2011 contest in Düsseldorf, Germany. After a six-week-long competition consisting of four heats, a Second Chance round and a final, "Popular" performed by Eric Saade emerged as the winner after achieving the highest score following the combination of votes from eleven international jury groups and a public vote. Sweden was drawn to compete in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 12 May 2011. Rinkaby
Rinkaby is a locality situated in Kristianstad Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden with 745 inhabitants in 2010. It is close to Lake Hammarsjön and 12 kilometres from Kristianstad. The village has a pre-school and primary school which is housed in a building originating in the 19th century. There is a leisure centre, a football club and some shops. The area has Stone Age remains; the name of the village is probably derived from the word ''rinkʀ'' (Old West Norse ''rekkr''), meaning 'man' or 'warrior', and ''by'' denotes a settlement in Old Swedish. Rinkaby Church was built in the 13th century and contains medieval murals and an astronomical clock.
