Annet Katusiime Mugisha (born in 1974) is a Ugandan politician serving as a member of the 11th Parliament of Uganda, representing the Bushenyi District. Early life and education Mugisha was born in 1974 in the village of Kantunda in the Bumbaire sub-county of the Bushenyi District in the Republic of Uganda. She has a degree in guidance and counseling from Uganda Martyrs University, a private Catholic-owned university located in Nkozi, Uganda. Bushenyi District
Bushenyi District is a district in Western Uganda. Like many other Ugandan districts, it is named after its chief town, Bushenyi, where the district headquarters are located. Location Bushenyi District is bordered by Rubirizi District to the northwest, Buhweju District to the northeast, Sheema District to the east, Mitooma District to the south and Rukungiri District to the west. Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) is a private University affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church in Uganda. The University is owned by the Episcopal Conference of the Catholic Bishops of Uganda. Mary Busingye Karooro Okurut (born 8 December 1954), more commonly known as Mary Karooro Okurut, is a Ugandan educator, author and politician. She is the former Cabinet Minister in Charge of General Duties in the Office of the Prime Minister, in the Ugandan Cabinet. She was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016.
