Anne Bierwisch
Anne Bierwisch (born 26 December 1987) is a German toxicologist and cricketer who plays for the national cricket team as a batter. She was the first player, male or female, to take a hat-trick for Germany in a Twenty20 International. Early life and career Bierwisch was born in Sondershausen, Thuringia, in the then East Germany. In 2012, she completed a master's degree in toxicology at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. Between 2013 and 2016, she was a research associate at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. Since 2017, she has worked as a toxicologist at Forschungs- und Beratungsinstitut Gefahrstoffe (FoBiG), which is based in Freiburg im Breisgau. In 2016, Bierwisch started playing cricket, after the then Germany women's captain, Stephanie Frohnmayer, asked her to join her cricket club in Bavaria. Sondershausen, Thuringia
Sondershausen is a town in Thuringia, central Germany, capital of the Kyffhäuserkreis district, situated about 50 km north of Erfurt. On 1 December 2007, the former municipality Schernberg was incorporated by Sondershausen. Until 1918 it was part of the principality of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen. Geography Sondershausen is situated in North Thuringia and lies in low mountain range between Hainleite (in the north) and Windleite (in the south). The France women's cricket team toured Germany in July 2021 to play a five-match bilateral Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) series. It was the first time that the two teams played against each other in official WT20I matches, and the first home series for Germany. Seebarn Cricket Ground
Seebarn Cricket Ground is a cricket ground in Seebarn, Austria. It was opened in 1995 as the first dedicated Cricket Ground in Austria. In 2000 a permanent sight screen was added to the ground and in 2001 a pavilion. The ground is the home base of Austria's national cricket team as well as the Vienna Cricket Club and has hosted a number of international tournaments. The Austria national women's cricket team is the team that represents Austria in international women's cricket. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to all its members. Oman Cricket Academy Ground, also known as the Al Amerat Cricket Stadium, is a cricket ground in Muscat, Oman. The ground is owned by the Oman Cricket Board.
