Anna Daly
Anna Daly (born 10 March 1977) is an Irish television presenter. She worked for TV3 and was a presenter on TV3's breakfast show, ''Ireland AM'' and ''Weekend AM''. Daly was born in Dublin and graduated with an International Marketing degree from the Marketing Institute of Ireland. She spent four years working in sponsorship and marketing for TV3, eventually becoming the station's Marketing Manager. She married Ben Ward in Portugal in September 2008. They have three sons. In 2008, Daly was nominated for ''Image Magazines Young Business Woman of the Year. She has also won at the TV Now Awards. Ireland AM
''Ireland AM'' is an Irish morning television show on Virgin Media One. It airs live every weekday from 07:00 to 10:00, and weekends from 9:00 to 12:00. The program features news, current affairs, weather updates, showbiz, fashion, beauty, food, health, home and garden. Its current weekday presenters are Alan Hughes, Muireann O'Connell and Tommy Bowe. The show is currently sponsored by Fairy, Febreze, Lenor, Ariel and Flash while the programme was previously sponsored by P&G, Unilever, Dolmio and Kellogg's. As of 2021, Ireland AM is the only Irish breakfast programme currently airing. As part of a new daytime schedule line up, from Monday 7 October 2019 the programme was extended to 11:00 am on weekdays, with the weekend editions now rebranded as Ireland AM too. ''Weekend AM'' (stylised as ''Weekend:am'') is an Irish morning television show on Virgin Media One, that was first broadcast as ''"Saturday AM"'' on 29 August 2015 at 09:00, with ''"Sunday AM"'' beginning the following day. Development Following the success of ''Ireland AM'' and an absence of live breakfast television on the weekends, the TV3 Group (now Virgin Media Television) confirmed in June 2015, it would introduce a weekend slot to its schedule. The TV Now Awards (known presently for sponsorship reasons as the Walkers Sensations TV Now Awards) was an annual awards ceremony which took place in Ireland between 2006 and 2010. The awards celebrated television moments from the previous year, with their name being taken from the magazine ''TV Now'' which is published by Michael O'Doherty. The TV Now Awards were held annually at the Mansion House in Dublin. The event saw cast members of British soaps such as '' Coronation Street'', ''Emmerdale'', '' EastEnders'' and ''Hollyoaks'' flying to Ireland to be present and to collect their awards.
