Ann-Christine Nyström
Ann-Christine Nyström-Silén (; 26 July 1944 – 5 October 2022), also known by her stage name Ann-Christine, was a Finnish singer who performed in the Eurovision Song Contest 1966 for Finland with the song "Playboy". Fredi (singer)
Matti Kalevi Siitonen (23 July 1942 – 23 April 2021), known professionally as Fredi, was a Finnish comedic actor, musician, singer/songwriter and television presenter. Domestically he was best known as a founding member of the comedic variety ensemble Kivikasvot. Siitonen chose his stage name, Fredi, after the cartoon character, Fred Flintstone. Career Fredi was born in Mikkeli. In 1965 he recorded his first song, "Roskisdyykkarin Balladi" as Folk Fredi. A year later he dropped the Folk name and was simply known as Fredi. Internationally he represented his country at the Eurovision Song Contest 1967 in Vienna, Austria with the song " Varjoon - suojaan" ("Into the shadow--into shelter"), which received three points and finished 12th out of 17. Finland was represented by Fredi, with the song "Varjoon – suojaan", at the 1967 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place on 8 April in Vienna. Before Eurovision National final The Finnish national final took place on February 11 at the YLE TV Studios in Helsinki. The show was hosted by Jaakko Jahnukainen. Finland was represented by Viktor Klimenko, with the song "Aurinko laskee länteen", at the 1965 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place on 20 March in Naples.
