Ankush (1986 Film)
''Ankush'' is a 1986 Hindi action drama film starring Nana Patekar, which was written, directed, edited and co-produced by N. Chandra. Made on a modest budget of ₹12 lakh, the film grossed ₹95 lakh. It was remade in Kannada as ''Ravana Rajya'' and in Tamil as ''Kavithai Paada Neramillai''. Synopsis The film tells the story of four lower middle class unemployed young men in Mumbai who feel disconnected with society and are wasting their lives. When new neighbours, a beautiful young girl Anita and her grandmother, change their perspective. Nana Patekar
Vishwanath Patekar (born 1 January 1951), better known as Nana Patekar, is an Indian actor, screenwriter, film maker, and a former Indian Territorial Army officer, mainly working in Hindi and Marathi cinema. He is regarded as one of the finest and influential actors in Indian Cinema, Patekar is recipient of three National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards for his acting performances. He was bestowed with the Padma Shri award in 2013 for his contribution in cinema and arts. Ashalata Wabgaonkar
Ashalata Wabgaonkar (2 July 1941 – 22 September 2020) commonly known as Ashalata, was an Indian actress. Originally tracing her roots to Goa's Palolem village in Canacona ''taluka'' (or 'sub-district'), she was associated with the Mumbai-based Goa Hindu Association. She acted in over a hundred Hindi and Marathi movies. She also sang some Konkani songs broadcast over the Mumbai station of the All India Radio. Konkani, Marathi, Hindi Goa-born Ashalata was also famous as a Marathi singer, playwright besides being a film actress. Ravana (; , , ) is a rakshasa king of the island of Lanka, and the chief antagonist of the Hindu epic '' Ramayana'' and its adaptations. In the ''Ramayana'', Ravana is described to be the eldest son of sage Vishrava and rakshasi Kaikesi. He abducted Prince Rama's wife Sita and took her to his kingdom of Lanka, where he held her in the Ashoka Vatika. Sampooran Singh Kalra (born 18 August 1934), known professionally as Gulzar, is an Indian Urdu poet, lyricist, author, screenwriter, and film director known for his works in Hindi cinema.
