Anja Weisser
Anja Weisser (also spelled Weißer; born 2 October 1991 in Marktoberdorf, Germany) is a German ice hockey defender. International career Weisser was selected for the Germany women's national ice hockey team in the 2014 Winter Olympics. She had one assists. As of 2014, Weisser has also appeared for Germany at two IIHF Women's World Championships. Her first appearance came in 2011. Marktoberdorf () is the capital of the Bavarian district of Ostallgäu in the ''Regierungsbezirk'' of Swabia. 2009 IIHF World Women's U18 Championship
The 2009 IIHF World Women's U18 Championship was the second holding of the World Women's U18 Championships, the premier International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) tournament for top division national women's junior ice hockey teams. It was held from 5 January through 10 January 2009, in Füssen, Germany. Eight teams competed in the Top Division tournament. Ice Hockey At The 2014 Winter Olympics
The ice hockey competitions of the 2014 Winter Olympics were played at two venues, located 300 meters from the other, within the Olympic Park in Sochi, Russia. The Bolshoy Ice Dome, which seats 12,000, resembles a Fabergé egg. The Shayba Arena, seating 7,000, was supposed to be a moveable structure but eventually stayed in Sochi. The 2013 IIHF Women's World Championships was the 15th world championship sanctioned by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) and was the last world championship before the 2014 Winter Olympics.
