Anita Horvat
Anita Horvat (born 7 September 1996) is a Slovenian sprinter and middle-distance runner. She placed seventh in the 800 metres at the 2022 World Athletics Championships. Horvat won the silver medal in the event at the 2023 European Indoor Championships. She represented Slovenia in the 400 metres at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She is the Slovenian record holder for the 400 metres out and indoors, and took 10 individual national titles (mostly for the 400 m). Career Anita Horvat competed in the women's 400 metres at the 2017 and 2019 World Athletics Championships. She also represented Slovenia in the event at the postponed 2020 Tokyo Olympics in 2021. In the 2022 season, Horvat gradually shifted to the 800 metres. In March, she won the 400 m at the Balkan Indoor Championships held in Istanbul. World Athletics Indoor Tour
The World Athletics Indoor Tour, formerly the IAAF World Indoor Tour, is an annual series of indoor track and field meetings, held since 2016. It was designed to create a Diamond League-style circuit for indoor track and field events, to raise the profile of indoor track and field, and replaced the IAAF Indoor Permit Meetings series. The tour was announced with initially four meetings, three in Europe and one in the United States, leading to the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Portland, Oregon. Winners of the Tour enjoy similar privileges in relation to World Indoor Championships qualification as Diamond League winners do in relation to the World Athletics Championships. The tour was initially in place for two years. Indoor Meeting Karlsruhe
Indoor Meeting Karlsruhe, formerly known as BW-Bank Meeting, is an annual indoor track and field competition which takes place in January or February in Karlsruhe, Germany. The meeting was first held at the Europahalle in 1985 and is currently a World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold-level event, the highest level of one-day indoor meeting in the World Athletics calendar. The athletics meeting is known for having strong fields in the short sprint events. The 2016 edition was part of the inaugural IAAF World Indoor Tour.
