Animetal USA
are a Japan-based American Heavy metal music, heavy metal band formed as a tribute to Eizo Sakamoto's band Animetal. They made their world debut at the 2011 Loud Park Festival, where they performed on stage with Momoiro Clover Z. The band's original members consisted of lead vocalist Michael Vescera (of Obsession (band), Obsession, formerly of Loudness (band), Loudness and Yngwie Malmsteen), guitarist Chris Impellitteri (of Impellitteri), bassist Rudy Sarzo (formerly of Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, and Queensrÿche#With Geoff Tate, the Geoff Tate lineup of Queensrÿche) and drummer Scott Travis (of Judas Priest and Racer X (band), Racer X). Jon Dette
Jon Dette (born April 19, 1970) is an American heavy metal drummer best known for his time in Slayer and Testament. Over the years, he has also been chosen to fill-in with Anthrax, Heathen, and Iced Earth. Dette also played with Evildead and Impellitteri for several years. Early life Dette was born in San Diego, California on April 19, 1970. He started playing drums at age 14. In 1984, his parents got divorced. He asked both of them for a drum set, which led to him receiving two drum kits for his birthday, which he converted into a double bass kit. The same birthday, his younger brother got him a copy of Anthrax's ''Fistful of Metal'', which led him to discovering bands similar to Anthrax, such as Metallica and Slayer. By 1990, Dette joined the band Apocalypse, which ended up being short-lived. Dette joined the thrash metal act Evildead in 1993. is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Go Nagai. The manga focuses on a high school student named Akira Fudo who absorbs the powers of the demon called "Amon" with help of his friend Ryo Asuka in order to battle creatures hidden in human society, thus calling himself the "Devilman" in the process. The series was originally ordered by Toei Animation as a toned-down anime version of Nagai's previous manga series, ''Demon Lord Dante''. Testament is an American Thrash metal, thrash metal band from Berkeley, California. Formed in 1983 under the name Legacy, the band's current lineup comprises rhythm guitarist Eric Peterson (musician), Eric Peterson, lead vocalist Chuck Billy (vocalist), Chuck Billy, lead guitarist Alex Skolnick, bassist Steve Di Giorgio and drummer Dave Lombardo. Slayer was an American thrash metal band from Huntington Park, California. The band was formed in 1981 by guitarists Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman, drummer Dave Lombardo and bassist/vocalist Tom Araya. Ozzy Osbourne
John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter, and television personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which period he adopted the nickname "Prince of Darkness". Quiet Riot is an American Heavy metal music, heavy metal band founded in Los Angeles in 1973 by guitarist Randy Rhoads and bassist Kelly Garni. The original lineup featured Rhoads and Garni with lead vocalist Kevin DuBrow and drummer Drew Forsyth, though that version of the band was mired in turmoil that would eventually see Garni fired for making death threats towards DuBrow. Loud Park Festival
The was a heavy metal festival held annually at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama City or Makuhari Messe in Chiba City, Japan. It was one of the biggest heavy metal festivals in Japan. The festival has featured both Japanese and international performers such as DragonForce, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Slayer, Circus Maximus, Napalm Death, Angra, Loudness, Anthem, United, Outrage, Galneryus, Dir En Grey and Babymetal. Producer Creativeman formed a joint venture with Live Nation Entertainment in 2013. Live Nation bought full control of the venture (including Loud Park Festival) in 2014.
