Richard Treloar
Richard Stanley Treloar (born 1965) is an Australian Anglican bishop. He is the current Bishop of Gippsland in the Province of Victoria.Latrobe Valley Express Treloar was born and raised in Sydney. He studied theology at Trinity College Theological School, graduating Bachelor of Theology and Master of Theology, and at Monash University where he obtained his PhD. Treloar was ordained deacon and priest in the Anglican Diocese of Ballarat and served as curate at St Peter's Ballarat and Christchurch Warrnambool before becoming rector of the Parish of Skipton (1993-1997). In 1998, he was appointed the associate chaplain and Stewart Lecturer in Theology at Trinity College. He went on to become chaplain of the college from 2003 to 2007. St Saviour's Cathedral, Goulburn
The St Saviour's Cathedral is the heritage-listed cathedral church of the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn in Goulburn, Goulburn Mulwaree Council, New South Wales, Australia. The Anglican Diocese of Bendigo is a diocese of the Anglican Church of Australia. It is situated in the Bendigo region of the state of Victoria, Australia. Its geographic remit extends from that part of Victoria that lies north of the Great Dividing Range and west of the Goulburn River to the border with the state of South Australia. The Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn is one of the 23 dioceses of the Anglican Church of Australia. The diocese has 60 parishes covering most of south-east New South Wales, the eastern Riverina and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). An assistant bishop in the Anglican Communion is a bishop appointed to assist a diocesan bishop. Church of England In the established Church of England, assistant bishops are usually retired (diocesan or suffragan) bishops – in which case they are ''honorary assistant bishop''s. Historically, non-retired bishops have been appointed to be assistant bishops – however, unlike a diocesan or suffragan they do not hold a see: they are not the "Bishop of Somewhere". Neville Chynoweth
Neville James Chynoweth (3 October 1922 – 11 August 2011) was the seventh Bishop of Gippsland from 1980 to 1987. Chynoweth was educated at Manly High School, Moore Theological College (ThL (Hons) in 1949 and a BD in 1969) and the University of Sydney, where he received an MA (1957). He was ordained in 1950, serving a curacy at St Michael's Sydney, Rector of Kangaroo Valley (1951–52) and then a chaplain of the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. From 1954 to 1963 he was Rector of St John's Dee Why and then, from 1963 to 1966, St Anne's Strathfield. In 1966 his ministry took him to Canberra, where he was Rector of All Saints Ainslie, Australian Capital Territory (1966–71) and then St Paul's, Manuka (1971–74). He was appointed archdeacon in 1973. A coadjutor bishop (or bishop coadjutor) is a bishop in the Catholic, Anglican, and (historically) Eastern Orthodox churches whose main role is to assist the diocesan bishop in the administration of the diocese. The coadjutor (literally, "co-assister" in Latin) is a bishop himself, although he is also appointed as vicar general.
