Angiriai Reservoir
The Angiriai Reservoir is an artificial lake in Kėdainiai District Municipality, central Lithuania. It is located north-west from Josvainiai town. It was created in 1980, when a dam on the Šušvė river had been built next to Angiriai village. In 2000, the dam was reconstructed and a small hydroelectric plant has been built. Shores of the reservoir at some places are high. The Pilsupiai Outcrop opens to the reservoir in Pilsupiai village. Kėdainiai District Municipality
Kėdainiai () is one of the oldest cities in Lithuania. It is located north of Kaunas on the banks of the Nevėžis River. First mentioned in the 1372 Livonian Chronicle of Hermann de Wartberge, its population is 23,667. Its old town dates to the 17th century. The city is the administrative centre of the Kėdainiai District Municipality. The geographical centre of the Lithuanian Republic is in the nearby village of Ruoščiai, located in the eldership of Dotnuva. Names The city has been known by other names: ''Kiejdany'' in Polish, ''Keidan'' (קיידאן) in Yiddish, and ''Kedahnen'' in German. Šušvė
Šušvė is a river in central Lithuania, a right (the longest) tributary of the Nevėžis river. It begins in Kelmė district municipality, 6 km (4 mi) southeast from Tytuvėnai. The river passes through Tytuvėnai and Sulinkiai Marshes and flows south through Radviliškis district municipality. Finally, Šušvė passes through Kėdainiai district municipality and flows into the Nevėžis near Graužiai village. The width of the river valley is between 0.5 and 3 km. From December to March Šušvė is usually frozen. Dams were built at Vaitiekūnai and Angiriai ( Angiriai Reservoir). The Šušvė Hydrological Sanctuary was established in 1992 to protect the lower courses of the river. Angiriai or Angeriai (meaning 'a place on woods', formerly russian: Онгиры, pl, Ongiry) is a village in Kėdainiai district municipality, in Kaunas County, in central Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the village had a population of 153 people. According to the 2011 census, the village had a population of 54 people. Josvainiai
Josvainiai (formerly pl, Jaswojnie, russian: link=no, Ясвойни, Ясвойне) is a small town in Kėdainiai district, central Lithuania. It is located on the Šušvė River 10 km southwest from Kėdainiai. Skinderiškis Dendrological Park
__NOTOC__ Skinderiškis Dendrological Park ( lt, Skinderiškio dendrologinis parkas) a dendrological park (an arboretum) located in a former Skinderiškis manor site (now part of Užvarčiai village), Kėdainiai District Municipality, central Lithuania. The park is located in the Šušvė river loop and covers an area of . It was created (since 1971) by a local forester Kęstutis Kaltenis who was awarded by the prize of Lithuanian president Valdas Adamkus in 1993 for this contribution to environment protection. The park hosts thousands of various trees and shrubs which belong to more than 1300 species.
