Chancelor Johnathan Bennett (born April 16, 1993), known professionally as Chance the Rapper, is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer. The MTV Video Music Award for Best Hip Hop Video was first given out at the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards.
