Angelos Digozis
Angelos Digozis ( el, Άγγελος Διγκόζης; born 19 March 1974) is a Greek professional football manager and former player who is the current manager of Super League 2 club Kozani. Throughout his career, he played a total of 435 matches in all divisions. He was holding a unique record in Greek football, having played in the first division with eight different clubs (Veria, Kavala, OFI, Aris, Ionikos, AEL, Skoda Xanthi and Panserraikos). Playing career Born in Pella, Digozis started his professional career with Apollon Kalamarias F.C. in 1994, going on to play for two more teams in the following five years, until reaching the top division with OFI Crete. He helped OFI finish fourth in his first season, with the subsequent UEFA Cup qualification. In 2002, he moved to Cyprus, representing Olympiakos Nicosia for a brief period of time. Pella (regional Unit)
Pella ( el, Περιφερειακή ενότητα Πέλλας) is one of the regional units of Greece, in the geographic region of Macedonia. It is part of the Region of Central Macedonia. It is named after the ancient city of Pella, the capital of ancient Macedonia and the birthplace of Alexander the Great. The capital of Pella is Edessa with a population of 19,036 inhabitants according to the census of 2011, while the largest town is Giannitsa. Tyrnavos ( el, Τύρναβος) is a municipality in the Larissa regional unit, of the Thessaly region of Greece. It is the second-largest town of the Larissa regional unit, after Larissa. The town is near the mountains and the Thessalian Plain. The river Titarisios, a tributary of the Pineios, flows through the town. 2000–01 UEFA Cup
Liverpool won the 2000–01 UEFA Cup with a golden goal in the final against Alavés for their third title in the competition. It completed a cup treble for the club, as they also won the FA Cup and the League Cup that season. The conclusion of the tournament by a golden goal is the only instance in any of the major European club cup competitions until the abolition of the rule in 2002.
