Angel Hobayan
Angel Tec-i Hobayan (December 11, 1929 – March 11, 2023) was a Filipino bishop of the Roman Catholic Church. He was the first Bishop of Catarman from 1974 to 2005. Ministry Priesthood Hobayan received the Sacrament of Holy Orders for the Diocese of Calbayog on March 25, 1955. On October 22, 1960, he was ordinated into the clergy of the newly formed Borongan Diocese. He later served as Vicar General of the Diocese of Borongan and Regent of the Jesus Nazareno Seminary in Borongan. From 1968 to 1969, Hobayan led the Diocese of Borongan during the vacancy of the Sede as Capitular Vicar. Pope Paul VI awarded him the papal honorary title of Apostolic Protonotary on June 28, 1974. Roman Catholic Diocese Of Catarman
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Catarman (Lat: ''Dioecesis Catarmaniensis'') is a Roman Rite diocese of the Latin Church of the Catholic Church in the Philippines. Erected in 1974, the diocese is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Palo and has experienced no jurisdictional changes since its establishment. The current bishop is Emmanuel Trance, the diocese's coadjutor bishop before automatically succeeding Angel Hobayan due to the latter's retirement in 2005. Angel Nacorda Lagdameo ( la, Angelus Lagdameo; 2 August 1940 – 8 July 2022) was a Filipino bishop of the Roman Catholic Church. He was Archbishop of Jaro from 9 May 2000 until 14 February 2018. Life and career Angel Lagdameo was born on 2 August 1940 in Lucban, Quezon. A graduate of San Jose Seminary, Ateneo de Manila University, he was ordained priest on 19 December 1964 by Bishop Alfredo Ma. Obviar. Borongan, officially the City of Borongan ( Waray: ''Siyudad han Borongan''; fil, Lungsod ng Borongan), is a 1st class component city and capital of the province of Eastern Samar, Philippines.
