''Angel Citizens'' is a 1922 American silent Western film directed by Francis Ford and starring Franklyn Farnum, Peggy O'Day and Shorty Hamilton. Plot "Angel City is a misnomer. A gang of outlaws is largely in control and when Isabelle Bruner's father is mysteriously killed the sheriff decides to get busy. Frank Bartlett, an idler who could afford to be idle, appeared in town and took Isabelle to the country ball. Francis Ford (actor)
Francis Ford (born Francis Joseph Feeney; August 14, 1881 – September 5, 1953) was an American film actor, writer and director. He was the mentor and elder brother of film director John Ford. He also appeared in many of the latter's movies, including ''Young Mr. Lincoln'' (1939) and ''The Quiet Man'' (1952). Biography Ford was born in Portland, Maine. He was the son of John Augustine Feeney, who was born in the village of Spiddal, County Galway, Ireland, on June 15, 1854. His mother was Barbara "Abbey" Curran. By 1878, John had moved to Portland, Maine, and opened a saloon, at 42 Center Street, that used a false front to pose as grocery store. John opened four others in following years. Al Hart (c. 1927 – January 14, 2016) was a radio broadcaster. He began his career at WOBT in Rhinelander, WI, studied journalism at the University of Minnesota, and spent ten years in television and radio in Shreveport, LA. He moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1960 to work as program director of KABL, moved to KNBR in 1965, and to KCBS as a producer for Dave McElhatton in 1966. Maximilian Edwin Hoffman (12 November 1904 – 9 August 1981), was an American importer of luxury European automobiles during the 1950s. Known equally for his acumen and influence, Hoffman was instrumental in development and refinement of several iconic luxury sports cars, including the Mercedes-Benz 300SL ''Gullwing'', Porsche 356 ''Speedster'', and V-8 powered BMW 507 roadster. Hoffman's contributions to both automobile development and sports car racing earned him induction into the Automotive Hall of Fame in 2003.
