Paul Barnett is an English game designer who is a Global Product Director at Wargaming, working on their game ''World of Tanks''. Before that he worked at Electronic Arts' Office of the Chief Creative Officer and was the General Manager of Mythic Entertainment, a subsidiary of EA. Barnett had a lead role in developing EA's ''Warhammer Online'' MMO in Europe. Career In his 20s, Barnett started developing a text-based game, ''Legends of Terris'', which he finished after three years. At the time, it was the largest text-based game in Europe. Archibald Terris
Archibald Terris (November 30, 1873 – February 14, 1938) was a coal miner and political figure in Nova Scotia. He represented Cumberland County in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1920 to 1925 and 1928 to 1933 as an Independent Labour member. Terris was a Labour-Conservative member from 1925 to 1928. He was born in Hillsboro, Albert County, New Brunswick, the son of Asa Terris and Mary Giles, and was educated in Springhill, Nova Scotia Springhill is a community located in central Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, Canada. John James Terris (born 19 June 1939) is a New Zealand politician, priest and broadcaster who represented the Labour Party in the New Zealand parliament. Biography Early life and career Terris was born in Wanganui in 1939 to Alexander Roderick Terris and his wife Rosa Maria (née Donovan) and attended New Plymouth Boys' High School. Terris also attended St John's Theological College and attained a diploma. In 1970 he was ordained by the Anglican Church as a Worker Priest. Sidney Terris (September 7, 1904 – December 30, 1974) was a top rated American lightweight boxing contender from the lower East Side of Manhattan. He excelled as an amateur, winning fifty straight bouts and taking Metropolitan, New York State, National AAU, and both National and International titles. Terris Moore (April 11, 1908 – November 7, 1993) was an explorer, mountaineer, light plane pilot, and the second president of the University of Alaska. Early years and education Moore attended schools in Haddonfield, Philadelphia and New York, and was a graduate of Williams College in Massachusetts. He then received an MBA and the degree of Doctor of Commercial Science from the Harvard School of Business Administration. Association of Catholic Clergy Pacem in Terris (Czech: ''Sdružení katolických duchovních Pacem in terris'', Slovak: ''Združenie katolíckych duchovných Pacem in terris''), abbreviated SKD PiT or simply PiT, was a regime-sponsored organisation of Catholic clergy in Communist Czechoslovakia between 1971 and 1989. Its name was taken from the well-known encyclical '' Pacem in terris'' of the reform Pope John XXIII. SKD PiT was registered on August 1, 1971, and its stated purposes were 'peace in the world' and 'friendship between nations'. But in fact its ''raison d'être'' was rather to control and spy on the clergy and influence the life of the whole church. Its founding assembly was held in Prague on August 31, 1971. ''Pacem in terris'' () was a papal encyclical issued by Pope John XXIII on 11 April 1963 on the rights and obligations of individuals and of the state, as well as the proper relations between states. It emphasized human dignity and equality among all people, and made mention of issues such as the rights of women, nuclear non-proliferation, and the United Nations, all of which it endorsed. It was the last encyclical drafted by John XXIII, who had been diagnosed with cancer in September 1962 and died two months after the encyclical's completion. Biographer Peter Hebblethwaite called it Pope John's "last will and testament". Published on Holy Thursday, the Pope called it his "Easter gift".
