Andy Riley
Andy Riley (born 1970) is a British author, cartoonist, and Emmy-winning screenwriter for TV and film. Riley has written and drawn many best-selling cartoon books, including '' The Book of Bunny Suicides'' (2003) and its sequels, and ''Great Lies To Tell Small Kids'' (2005). From 2002 until February 2010 he drew a weekly comic strip called ''Roasted'' in '' The Observer Magazine'', a collection of which was released in book form in 2007. Riley also publishes the King Flashypants series of children's books''.'' The 99p Challenge
''The 99p Challenge'' is a spoof panel game originally broadcast on BBC Radio 4. The show is presented by Sue Perkins and features a selection of regular panelists such as Armando Iannucci and regular writers Kevin Cecil, Andy Riley, Jon Holmes and Tony Roche. Panelists are given silly tasks by Perkins (in a manner not dissimilar to those given on ''I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue'' by Humphrey Lyttelton) and are awarded pence for being funny. The player with the most money at the end of the show is given the chance to win 99p. It has been shown in some episodes that the gamble is compulsory, even if the winner has amassed a fortune of more than 99p in the game. This is the second version of the panel game that was previously transmitted by BBC Radio 4 in 1998 as ''King Stupid''. Tony Roche (writer)
Tony Roche is an English television, radio and film comedy writer and producer, best known as a writer of the HBO black comedy '' Succession'', the HBO comedy '' Veep'', the BBC Television series ''The Thick of It'', and its film spin-off ''In the Loop''. He is credited with inventing the word omnishambles, which was named 2012 Word of the Year by the Oxford English Dictionary. Jon Holmes (born 24 April 1973) is a British comedian, writer, presenter and broadcaster. ''The Armando Iannucci Shows'' is a series of eight programmes directed by Armando Iannucci and written by Iannucci with Andy Riley and Kevin Cecil. It was shown on UK's Channel 4 from 30 August to 18 October 2001. Each episode focused on specific themes related to human nature and existentialism, around which Iannucci would weave a series of surreal sketches and monologues. ''Smack the Pony'' is a British sketch comedy show that was originally broadcast between 1999 and 2003 on Channel 4.
