Andy Chatterley
Andy Chatterley (born 8 May 1973) is a British record producer and songwriter. He is also the CEO of online content protection company MUSO. Life and career Chatterly was born in Jersey, Channel Islands. He attended Victoria College, Jersey. As a record producer and songwriter, he has worked with artists such as The Pussycat Dolls, Kanye West, Kylie Minogue, Diana Vickers, Rea Garvey, Melanie C, Nerina Pallot, Siobhan Fahey, Theoretical Girl and Bright Light Bright Light. Chatterley co-wrote and produced the title track "Aphrodite (song), Aphrodite" by Kylie Minogue, as well as the single "Better than Today" from the album, ''Aphrodite (Kylie Minogue album), Aphrodite''. Chatterley co-wrote "Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love), Put Your Hands Up" by Nerina Pallot the lead single from ''Year of the Wolf''. "Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love)" is a song recorded by Australian singer Kylie Minogue for her eleventh studio album, ''Aphrodite'' (2010). The song was released as the fourth and final single from the album on 29 May 2011. Its release was heralded by the Pete Hammond remix, published on YouTube months before as promotion for the album and Minogue's Aphrodite World Tour. Initially scheduled to be part of the tour edition of her ''Aphrodite'' album, the single was first released in Japan on 29 May 2011 as a digital bundle including a new track called "Silence". Adam & The Ants
Adam and the Ants were an English rock band formed in London in 1977. The group existed in two incarnations, both fronted by Adam Ant, over the period 1977 to 1982. The first, founded in May 1977 and known simply as The Ants until November of that year, transitioned from the punk rock to the post-punk and new wave era and released one album. The final line-up of this incarnation—Dave Barbarossa, Matthew Ashman, and Leigh Gorman—left the band in January 1980 at the suggestion of manager Malcolm McLaren to form Bow Wow Wow. The second incarnation of Adam and the Ants featured guitarist Marco Pirroni and drummer/producer Chris Hughes, and was noted for its use of Burundi drums. X-Press 2 are an English electronic dance music duo. The members are DJ Diesel (Darren House) and DJ Rocky (Darren Rock). Ashley Beedle left to pursue solo projects in 2009. They were DJ Award winners in 2002 and Ivor Novello winners in 2003. History Explaining the band's name, Darren Rock (aka 'DJ Rocky') explained that acid house legend Terry Farley of Fire Island came up with it. Rocky said, "We were originally going to call ourselves Rock 2 House, but arleywasn't really into that. So he renamed us X-Press 2. He basically liked the S'Express so kind of adapted that." X-Press 2 first rose to underground prominence through the tracks "Muzik Express" and "London Xpress" which were both released on Junior Boys Own Records. Chia Pet
Chia Pets are American styled terracotta figurines used to sprout chia, where the chia sprouts grow within a couple of weeks to resemble the animal's fur or hair. Moistened chia seeds (''Salvia hispanica'') are applied to a grooved terracotta figurine. The Chia Pet is marketed by Joe Pedott and produced by San Francisco, California-based company Joseph Enterprises, Inc. He originally developed the idea for Chia Pets after visiting Mexico and seeing Oaxacan artisans using sprouted chia seeds in their artwork. The first Chia Pet was created on September 8, 1977. A trademark registration was filed on Monday, October 17, 1977. Pedott first learned about "something called the Chia Pet" being imported from Mexico when he attended a housewares show in Chicago in 1977. Deep Dish is an American electronic music duo, consisting of Ali "Dubfire" Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi. Biography Based in Washington, D.C., it is well known for providing house or dance remixes of tracks of famous artists such as Madonna, Janet Jackson, Cher, Stevie Nicks and Gabrielle, and for its live DJ sets.
