Andrew Conrad Brown (born February 15, 1944) is a Canadians, Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. Career Brown played with the Detroit Red Wings and the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League, the Indianapolis Racers of the World Hockey Association and several teams in the minor leagues. In the 1973–74 NHL season, 1973–74 season, he incurred 60 minutes in penalties, then the NHL record for penalty minutes in a season by a goaltender. He was the last goalie to play without a mask in the NHL, on April 7, 1974, in a 6–3 loss to the Atlanta Flames; he continued to play without a mask throughout his three seasons in the WHA. Andrew Brown (20 February 1915 – 1973) was a Scottish footballer who played as a forward in the Football League for Torquay United. Career Born in Coatbridge, Brown began his career with Scottish amateur outfit Cumbernauld Thistle. He later joined Cardiff City, making three appearances for the side over two years. He moved to Torquay United in 1938, making 34 league appearances and scoring five goals after World War II. Brown joined Southern League club Colchester United in 1947, making his debut in the opening game of the 1947–48 season in a 5–1 victory at Bedford Town. He scored his first goal for Colchester in a 2–1 FA Cup first round win over Banbury Spencer on 29 November 1947. His first league goal came during a 1–1 draw at Bath City on 13 March 1948. Andrew Steven “Andy” Brown (born December 2, 1972) is an American attorney and politician from the state of Texas. On November 17, 2020, he was sworn in as Travis County Judge. Raised in Austin, Texas in Hyde Park, he graduated from McCallum High School where he was class president. Former field organizer for the Texas Democratic Party, former campaign manager for U.S. Representative Lloyd Doggett in 2004; ran for 48th District of the Texas House of Representatives in 2006 before dropping out because of a residency issue. He was the Travis County Democratic Party Chair from 2008 to 2013. Brown has served as Finance Director and Senior Advisor to U.S. Senate and presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke. Brown was educated at Haslingden Grammar School and St Peter's College, Oxford.
