André Haudry
André Haudry, seigneur de Soucy (hamlet of Fontenay-lès-Briis), Fontenay, Janvry, de Segrez and other places (7 November 1688 – 30 December 1769) was an 18th-century French fermier général. Born in Corbeil-Essonnes, he died in his Paris home in 1769 and was buried in the chapel of his château de Soucy on 1 January 1770. Corbeil-Essonnes () on the River Seine is a commune in the southern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located from the center of Paris. Although neighboring Évry is the official seat of the Arrondissement of Évry, the sub-prefecture building and administration are located inside the commune of Corbeil-Essonnes. History Traces of human presence in the area date to the Palaeolithic and Neolithic ages; later it was a Gallo-Roman settlement on the main road from Paris to Sens.
