Andrzej Krauze (born 7 March 1947) is a Polish-born British cartoonist, illustrator, caricaturist, painter, poster designer and satirist noted for his allegorical, fabulous, symbolic and sometimes scary imagery, as well as his reliance on black ink, bold lines and cross-hatching. Andrzej Sebastian Duda (; born 16 May 1972) is a Polish lawyer and politician who has served as president of Poland since 6 August 2015. Before becoming president, Andrzej Duda was a member of Polish Lower House (Sejm) from 2011 to 2014 and the European Parliament from 2014 to 2015. Andrzej Nowacki is an Op Art artist of Polish origin who lives and works in Berlin. Early life Andrzej Nowacki was born on 15 October 1953 in Rabka, Poland. He spent his youth in Krakow. His first artistic experience was in interior design and art restoration. In 1977 he left Poland to study Scandinavian languages at the University of Gothenburg and later Art History in Innsbruck, Austria. Andrzej Chyra (born 27 August 1964) is a Polish actor and a member of the Polish Film Academy and the European Film Academy. Life and career He graduated from high school and in 1987 he graduated from the Acting Theater School in Warsaw. In 1994, he majored at the same university in directing. He made his film debut in 1993, with the role of Benvollo in the film ''Order of Affection'', directed by Radosław Piwowarski. Andrzej Bartkowiak, A.S.C. (born 6 March 1950) is a Polish cinematographer and film director. Career In the early 1980s, Bartkowiak was cinematographer on three films that received Academy Award nominations for Best Picture: ''The Verdict'', ''Terms of Endearment'', and ''Prizzi's Honor''. Andrzej Mleczko (born 5 January 1949) is a Polish illustrator, mostly known for his satirical activities. He is also connected with painting, book illustrations, adverts, scenography and posters. Andrzej Kmicic is best known as a fictional character created by Henryk Sienkiewicz featured in the novel ''The Deluge''. He is a typical szlachcic (Polish-Lithuanian noble) from the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth; unruly yet patriotic. During the course of the books, he transforms from a villain to a hero. The 1991–92 Copernicus Society translation by W.S. Kuniczak calls the character Andrei Kmita, rather than Andrzej Kmicic.
