Andriy Ihorovych Bondarenko (born 22 June 1978 in Brovary) is a Ukrainian composer and pianist. Early life Bondarenko received his musical education at the Lysenko Special Music school in Kyiv, and at the National Musical Academy of Ukraine. Career Bondarenko won prizes in Rachmaninov (Tambov, Russia, 1996), Horovitz (Kyiv, 1997), Lysenko (Kyiv, 1997) international competitions. He collaborates with the “New music in Ukraine” ensemble. Andriy Bachynskyi ( uk, Андрій Бачинський, hu, Bacsinszky András; 11 November 1732 – 19 November 1809) was a Ruthenian Greek Catholic hierarch. He was bishop of the Ruthenian Catholic Eparchy of Mukacheve from 1773 to 1809. Biography Born in Beňatina, Habsburg monarchy (present day – Slovakia) in 1732 in the family of the Ruthenian priest Teodor Bachynskyi. He was ordained a priest on 2 September 1756 for the Vicariate Apostolic for Ruthenians by Bishop Manuil Olshavskyi. He was confirmed as the Bishop by the Holy See on 8 March 1773. He was consecrated to the Episcopate on 6 June 1773. The principal consecrator was Bishop Vasilije Božičković and co-consecrators were Bishop Meletie Covaci and Bishop Franz Josef von Gondola. Andriy Atanasovich Melnyk ( uk, Андрій Атанасович Ме́льник; 12 December 1890 – 1 November 1964) was a Ukraine, Ukrainian military and political leader. Life Melnyk was born near Drohobych, Galicia (Central Europe), Halychyna, into a peasant family. Between 1912 and 1914 he studied at the Higher School of Agriculture in Vienna. With the outbreak of the First World War, Melnyk served as an officer in the Austro-Hungarian army as a volunteer commanding a company of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen. Andrij Parekh (born September 20, 1971) is an American cinematographer and television director. Early life Parekh was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts of Ukrainian and Indian descent.
