Andrii Orlyk
Andriy Vyacheslavovych Orlyk ( uk, Андрій В'ячеславович Орлик; born 6 March 1998, in Shostka, Sumy Oblast, Ukraine) is a cross-country skier and biathlete from Ukraine. He represented Ukraine at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Career He took up the sport at age seven in home town of Shostka, Ukraine. Orlyk started his career at major competitions in January 2015 when he finished 4th and 6th at 2015 European Youth Olympic Winter Festival in Steg, Liechtenstein. Next winter he competed at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics in Lillehammer. There he was 5th in 10km freestyle race. Andrii participated at two World Championships in 2015 and 2017. Shostka
Shostka (, ) is a city in Sumy Oblast in the north-east of Ukraine. Shostka serves as the administrative center of Shostka Raion. It is administratively incorporated as a city of oblast significance and does not belong to the raion. The city lies on the Shostka River, a tributary of the Desna, from which it gets its name. Shostka is an important centre of industry: in chemicals (see Svema) and in dairy, the Shostka City Milk Plant was recently acquired by the Bel Group. History In 1739, a gunpowder factory was built there. Since that time Shostka was one of the most important gunpowder suppliers in the Russian Empire. Falun
Falun () is a city and the seat of Falun Municipality in Dalarna County, Sweden, with 37,291 inhabitants in 2010. It is also the capital of Dalarna County. Falun forms, together with Borlänge, a metropolitan area with just over 100,000 inhabitants. Falun was originally famous for its copper mine, and is today an important service and industrial city even though the mine is closed (since 1992).
