Andrey Prokofyev
Andrey Vassilyevich Prokofyev (russian: Андрей Васильевич Прокофьев; 6 June 1959, Sverdlovsk, USSR – 19 June 1989, Sverdlovsk, USSR) was a Soviet athlete, winner of a gold medal in the 4 × 100 m relay at the 1980 Summer Olympics. The 1986 Goodwill Games was the inaugural edition of the international multi-sport event created by Ted Turner, which was held from 5 – 20 July 1986. The main stadium was the Central Lenin Stadium in Moscow, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union.
