Andrew Watson (racing Driver)
Andrew Robert Watson (born 21 January 1995) is a British racing driver from Northern Ireland currently competing in the British Touring Car Championship with CarStore Power Maxed Racing. Throughout his career Watson has competed in sports car racing and endurance racing, until his switch to touring car racing in 2023. He is a former Aston Martin Racing junior. Racing career Early career Watson began his motor racing career at the age of 15, in the Ginetta Junior Ireland Championship, making regular podiums through to 2011. That year, Andrew joined Douglas Motorsport team to race in the final two rounds of the Ginetta Junior Championship at Silverstone. 2012 saw Watson contest the entire Ginetta Junior championship season, again with Douglas Motorsport. Silverstone Circuit
Silverstone Circuit is a motor racing circuit in England, near the Northamptonshire villages of Towcester, Silverstone and Whittlebury. It is the home of the British Grand Prix, which it first hosted as the 1948 British Grand Prix. The 1950 British Grand Prix at Silverstone was the first race in the newly created World Championship of Drivers. The race rotated between Silverstone, Aintree and Brands Hatch from 1955 to 1986, but settled permanently at the Silverstone track in 1987. The circuit also hosts the British round of the MotoGP series. On 30 September 2004, British Racing Drivers' Club president Jackie Stewart announced that the British Grand Prix would not be included on the 2005 provisional race calendar and, if it were, would probably not occur at Silverstone. 2022 Asian Le Mans Series
The 2022 Asian Le Mans Series was the tenth season of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's Asian Le Mans Series. It is the fourth 24 Hours of Le Mans-based series created by the ACO, following the American Le Mans Series (since merged with the Rolex Sports Car Series to form the United SportsCar Championship), the European Le Mans Series and the FIA World Endurance Championship. The four-event season began at the Dubai Autodrome in Dubai on 11 February 2022 and ended at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi on 20 February 2022. 2015 International GT Open
The 2015 International GT Open season was the tenth season of the International GT Open, the grand tourer-style sports car racing founded in 2006 by the Spanish GT Sport Organización. It began on 26 April at Circuit Paul Ricard and finished on 1 November, at Barcelona after seven double-header meetings. The series changed tyre supplier from Dunlop to Michelin. 2015 British GT Championship
The 2015 Avon Tyres British GT season was the 23rd season of the British GT Championship. The season began on 6 April at Oulton Park and finished on 13 September at Donington Park, after nine rounds held over seven meetings. Beechdean Motorsport won both the GT3 and GT4 drivers championships. Team owner Andrew Howard won his second title with Jonathan Adam in GT3 while Jamie Chadwick and Ross Gunn claimed honours in GT4. The 2016 GT Series Sprint Cup (known for sponsorship reasons as the 2016 Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup) was the fourth season following on from the demise of the SRO Group's FIA GT1 World Championship (an auto racing series for grand tourer cars), the third with the designation of Blancpain Sprint Series or Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup. 2020 European Le Mans Series
The 2020 European Le Mans Series was the seventeenth season of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's (ACO) European Le Mans Series. The six-event season began at Circuit Paul Ricard on 19 July and finished at Algarve International Circuit on 1 November. The series was open to Le Mans Prototypes, divided into the LMP2 and LMP3 classes, and grand tourer-style racing cars in the LMGTE class. 2020 IMSA SportsCar Championship
The 2020 IMSA SportsCar Championship was the 50th racing season sanctioned by the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) (which traces its lineage back to the 1971 IMSA GT Championship). This was also the seventh United SportsCar Championship season and fifth under the name as the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The 2020 Intercontinental GT Challenge was the fifth season of the Intercontinental GT Challenge. The season again features five rounds, starting with the Bathurst 12 Hour, Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hour on 2 February and concluding with the Kyalami 9 Hours on 12 December.
