Andrew Startin
Andrew Startin is an Australian performer, impersonator and television personality. Startin came to prominence in 1997 as a result of a video tape of him impersonating Sam Newman being sent into ''The AFL Footy Show'' in an attempt to win a trip to London. He won, and the incredible accuracy of his voice, expressions and mannerisms shot him to fame as he appeared four more times that year on ''The Footy Show'', including one episode where he filled in for Sam Newman, after the controversial personality broke his leg. In 1998, Startin split from Channel Nine amid much publicity. He was to join Channel Seven, and new football/variety show to rival Nine's ''The Footy Show''. Molly Meldrum
Ian Alexander "Molly" Meldrum AM (born 29 January 1943) is an Australian music critic, journalist, record producer and musical entrepreneur. He was the talent co-ordinator, on-air interviewer, and music news presenter on the former popular music program ''Countdown'' (1974–87) and is widely recognised for his trademark Stetson hat, which he has regularly worn in public since the 1980s (it is commonly mistaken for an Akubra). ''All Aussie Adventures'', also known as ''Russell Coight's All Aussie Adventures'', is an Australian mockumentary television series that parodies the travel-adventure genre. Comedian Glenn Robbins plays Russell Coight, a survival and wildlife expert who charts his disastrous travels through Australia, spreading misinformation and causing accidents. The series originally ran on Network Ten from 5 August 2001 to 29 September 2002. There was also a 14 November 2004 telemovie, ''Russell Coight's Celebrity Challenge'', which featured minor (fictional) celebrities joining Coight in the outback. The Panel (Australian TV Series)
''The Panel'' was an Australian television talk show that was broadcast by Network Ten and its affiliates; it was also simulcast on the Triple M radio network. The show was produced by Working Dog Productions and included several members of the former D-Generation and ''The Late Show'' casts. The show featured a panel of five (originally six) people who discuss and joke about items in the news, current affairs, and pop culture. Episodes of ''The Panel'' screened at 9.30pm on Wednesday nights. Episodes were scheduled to run one hour but would often finish late, delaying the live news broadcast scheduled for 10.30pm immediately afterwards. The series premiered in 1998 and was very popular in its first few years. The show is currently considered to be on hiatus with the last regular episode airing in 2004. John Patrick Doyle AM (born 9 March 1953) is an Australian actor, writer, radio presenter and comedian best known for his character Rampaging Roy Slaven. Early life Doyle was born in Lithgow, New South Wales in 1953 into a music-loving, Catholic household with three sisters, Deanna, Cathy, and Jen, and a brother, Tony. His mother was a business woman and his father a railway fettler. He was an altar boy for a time but lost interest in Catholicism with the introduction of contemporary changes in the Mass among other things. He attended and was a prefect at De La Salle Academy in Lithgow before graduating from the then Newcastle Teachers' College in 1973 with a Diploma of Teaching (Secondary English/History).
