Andrew Robinson (cricketer)
Andrew Robinson (born 10 June 1981) is an Australian cricketer. He played in twelve first-class and seven List A matches for Queensland between 2010 and 2012. He also played in seven Twenty20 matches for the Brisbane Heat in 2011/12. He is the all-time leading run-scorer for Gold Coast in Queensland Premier Cricket. Cricket career Early in his cricket career Robinson played with small clubs Surfers Paradise and Queens but eventually began playing for the Gold Coast in Brisbane Grade Cricket. Robinson was a late bloomer and performed well for Gold Coast over several seasons and developed a reputation as an elite T20 player at club level before making his First-class debut for Queensland at the age of 29 in December 2010. He scored 77 out of an innings total of 213 for Queensland in the first innings. Devonport ( ; Palawa Kani: ''Tiagarra'') is a city in northern Tasmania, Australia, located on the lands of the Pannilerpanner clan of the Palawa nation. It is situated at the mouth of the Mersey River. Devonport had an urban population of 26,150 at the 2021 Australian census. Wade Seccombe
Wade Anthony Seccombe (born 30 October 1971 in Murgon, Queensland) is a retired Australian first-class cricketer representing the state of Queensland. A wicket-keeper, Seccombe spent much of his career as second choice behind incumbent Ian Healy, replacing him largely when the latter was on international duty. He was nevertheless regarded as a keeper of substantial skill, rated a "great keeper" by Australian captain Ricky Ponting. Seccombe made his first-class debut against a touring English team at Caloundra's Roy Henzell Oval in the season of 1992–93, claiming three catches and a stumping against the touring England A team in their first innings. With Healy on Test duties, Seccombe remained the Bulls' first-choice gloveman throughout the 1990s and into the new century. List Of Brisbane Heat Cricketers
The Brisbane Heat are an Australian cricket club who play in the Big Bash League, the national domestic Twenty20 competition. The club was established in 2011 as an inaugural member of the eight-club league. The Big Bash League consists of a regular season and a finals series of the top four teams. This list includes players who have played at least one match for the Heat in the Big Bash League and the Champions League Twenty20. When the Big Bash League was established in 2011 a salary cap of $1 million was set for every club with a limit of two contracted international players. As of 2013 Brisbane Heat had eighteen full Contracts available, and for the 2020/21 season has nineteen contracted players. Steve Storey
Steve Storey (born 23 November 1964) is an Australian cricketer who was a left-arm spin-bowling allrounder. He played in twenty first-class and seven List A matches for Queensland between 1989 and 1994. Career Storey was from Newcastle and began his cricket career with Wallsend District Cricket Club in Newcastle District Cricket before playing two seasons for Mosman in Sydney Grade Cricket. However, he disliked living in Sydney and moved to Queensland as he had a brother who lived on the Gold Coast. He made his First-class debut for Queensland in 1989 against South Australia at the Gabba and he performed well with the bat; a report stated that he "proved it was a stage on which he belongs". Allan Border, who played in the match, said in an interview shortly after Storey's innings "I was very impressed with that debut. He made me look ordinary." Darren Scott Lehmann (born 5 February 1970) is an Australian cricket coach and former cricketer who coached the Australian national team. Lehmann made his ODI debut in 1996 and Test debut in 1998. Big Bash League
The Big Bash League (known as the KFC Big Bash League for sponsorship reasons, often abbreviated to BBL or Big Bash) is an Australian professional club Twenty20 cricket league, which was established in 2011 by Cricket Australia. The Big Bash League replaced the previous competition, the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash, and features eight city-based franchises instead of the six state teams which had participated previously. The competition has been sponsored by fast food-chicken outlet KFC since its inception.
