Andrew Novell
Andrew Novell (born 1968) is an English/American actor, born in Redhill, Surrey, who has worked in theatre and film in both the UK and the USA. A graduate of The Poor School (two-year acting course, 1995), he later attended Rose Bruford College (BA Directing, 2001) and the University of East Anglia (MA Directing, 2003). He is notable for his portrayal of Richard III in the Merton Abbey Mills 1998 production of Shakespeare's ''Richard III'', and as Ariel in The Cherub Company London's touring production of ''The Tempest'' (1995), which toured throughout the UK and Europe. Redhill, Surrey
Redhill () is a town in the borough of Reigate and Banstead within the county of Surrey, England. The town, which adjoins the town of Reigate to the west, is due south of Croydon in Greater London, and is part of the London commuter belt. The town is also the post town, entertainment and commercial area of three adjoining communities : Merstham, Earlswood and Whitebushes, as well as of two small rural villages to the east in the Tandridge District, Bletchingley and Nutfield. The town is situated on the junction of the north–south A23 (London to Brighton) road, and the east–west A25 road which runs from Guildford through to Sevenoaks. ''Clash of the Titans'' is a 2010 action fantasy film and remake of the 1981 film of the same name produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (the rights to which had been acquired by Warner Bros. in 1996 through its purchase of Turner). The story is very loosely based on the Greek myth of Perseus. An Australian-American production directed by Louis Leterrier from a screenplay by Travis Beacham, Phil Hay, and Matt Manfredi, starring Sam Worthington, Gemma Arterton, Mads Mikkelsen, Alexa Davalos, Ralph Fiennes, and Liam Neeson, the film was originally set for standard release on March 26, 2010. ''Pacific Rim'' is a 2013 American science fiction monster film directed by Guillermo del Toro, starring Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day, Robert Kazinsky, Max Martini, and Ron Perlman, and the first film in the ''Pacific Rim'' franchise. The Poor School
The Poor School and Workhouse Theatre was a drama school situated in King's Cross, London, United Kingdom. The Poor School was created in 1986 by former Royal Central School of Speech and Drama vocal coach Barbara Caister in response to the need for first-class acting training which was financially within the reach of all, or almost all, and later taken over by her son, Paul Caister who ran the school for over 30 years. The two-year training programme at the school was in operation for 32 years, with graduates enjoying careers in theatre, film, radio, stage and comedy; ex-students have founded their own companies (Ridiculusmus and Sturdy Beggars, most notably) and have become producers, directors, casting directors and agents. The Poor School was not accredited by Drama UK and did not issue diplomas or certifications.
